Lamp Makeover
I know this is kind of a silly little post:) But I am going to post it up anyway!!! There are always things sitting around my house that I don’t like and would be so easy to change with a little spray paint, fabric, a hot glue gun, etc. But I don’t do it….until one day I DO! Then it takes me like 5 minutes to update something and I love it when before I hated it. WHY do I wait so long to just take a few minutes to change things and make them fit my space better? Sewing Desk Makeover
My first….. again I repeat, MY FIRST furniture makeover experience!!! This sewing desk makeover was a lot of work but so worth the effort and I am in love with this piece. It is perfect for my space and me needs and has personality to boot!!!

Upright Piano Moving Tip
I am writing this post today from a place of TOTAL EXCITEMENT!!!! EEEEEK!!! My uber talented friend Marcy who painted my Chevron Patterned Wall in my craft room is now going to paint my piano!!! Should I use a few more exclamation marks !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is how stoked I am about it!!! Now just to get it moved from my house to hers!
I have wanted to paint my piano ever since I got it 8 years ago but I am by no means an excellent furniture re-doer person and since it is my PIANO we are talking about here and not just a dresser I bought on craigslist I never had the guts to do it.

Baker’s Twine Solution
Baker’s Twine, it is so popular and rightly so! You can use it for all kinds of projects and it adds such a cute touch! I really love my “smallish” collection of twine but it is always shoved away in a box or bin where I have to dig it out in order to use it.
