Liebster Award
Liebster, liebster….what the heck is a Liebster Award??? I was nominated for said award by Laura over at The Experimental Home, THANKS LAURA!!! I love her blog, she was so gracious to do a blog swap with me earlier this week and I think she is adorable and talented.
I was so excited to be nominated for an award, winning any award is super fun, pretty much I like winning things, who doesn’t? After reading Laura’s post about the award and looking it up on good old google, I have learned that it is not an actual physical award. It is a fun recognition from a fellow blogger. Liebster in german means “love”, “sweetheart” or “dearest”. This award is passed around from blogger to blogger to help smaller blogs (like 32turns, wink) build an awesome community. I am so please to write this acceptance post for my nomination, I love blogging! Seriously I am coming in contact with so many amazing women who are so sweet and supportive. Love it!

Pizza Sandwiches
Pizza, love it, sandwiches, love ’em. So it makes sense these Pizza Sandwiches would be right up my alley right? Well, yum! Hi there! Laura from The Experimental Home here. I am so excited to be guest posting over here at 32 Turns today! Before I give you the details about an awesome thank-you gift for any woman in your life, I thought I would tell you a little bit about myself. You know, so you aren’t taking crafty advice from a stranger.
I am a scientist by day, and a wife and mama all the time. As a scientist I learn by doing experiments, and it turns out that I do the same thing at home. I never know what I am doing until I’m done. Sound familiar? I bet it does. My blog is all about those everyday experiments.
Today I am sharing with you not one, but two experiments, all wrapped up in a nifty little package… Well the package is actually the second experiment. Anyway, let’s get started.

Mother, a Word That Means the World to Me
Somewhere once I read these lines, “Mother, a word that means the world to me.” They rang so true when I read them and they still ring so true today. I love being a Mom, ok..some days are super hard, but I wouldn’t trade the good moments, the joyful moments, the peaceful moments with my kids for all the bad moments in the world. I love Mother’s Day because it helps to remind me to focus on the things I LOVE about being a mom instead of the things I don’t. It is a chance to set aside my to do list for the day and just play with my kids and enjoy all the little surprises they and their dad have cooked up. Being a Mother is awesome, it is definitely a word that means a lot to me.
I Love my mom. She is fantastic and is another reason that the word Mother is so meaningful. Just look at her cute smiling face with all the grand babies gathered around. Today is also so wonderful because it gives me the opportunity to think about her and all the reasons that I am so thankful she is my mom. I love you mom!!
To all those Mother’s out there of any kind, whether you have kids, or nieces, or you are a teacher or a mentor or a friend. Mothering comes in all shapes and sizes and it takes all kinds.

Easy Scrapbooking
National Scrapbook Month!
May is National Scrapbooking Month. Now I know that might not mean a whole lot to some of you, but since I am a scrapbook enthusiast AND am working uber hard to get caught up to date on my scrapbooks this year, it means a lot to me!
