I love teachers! In another life I wanted to be a teacher, but then I had kids and I realized how hard a job it really is to teach! I admire my girls’ teachers and all that they manage to do. They are special people. Even at the beginning of a new school year I love them already even though I haven’t even had time to get to know them. People that choose to teach deserve all the love, appreciation and yummy treats and goodies we can come up with! So, to start the school year off right here is a back to school teacher printable.

End of Summer Party
Oh Summer, how we will miss thee. I seriously have a love hate relationship with Summertime. I absolutely adore having my kids home and sleeping in, and swimming all day and going to fun places and staying up late. But sometimes, let’s be honest here, I miss them being gone at school all day. But then school starts and I am hating the rigid daily schedule….man, there is so much good and bad about everything right!?! But since Summer is ending and we will miss it, and since school is starting on Monday for which we are excited, we definitely needed a celebration. The beginning of a new school year is always something to look forward to, but the end of summer definitely deserves a proper goodbye. Continue reading

Lamp Makeover
I know this is kind of a silly little post:) But I am going to post it up anyway!!! There are always things sitting around my house that I don’t like and would be so easy to change with a little spray paint, fabric, a hot glue gun, etc. But I don’t do it….until one day I DO! Then it takes me like 5 minutes to update something and I love it when before I hated it. WHY do I wait so long to just take a few minutes to change things and make them fit my space better? Turkey & Bacon Oven Subs
My mouth has been watering over the Oven Subs that T.J. at Sweet Sugar Blossoms shared a few weeks ago. So when my sister came to visit last week and we were deciding on a dinner menu and she mentioned oven subs as an idea I was ALL IN! I had never even heard of oven subs until a few weeks ago and now I have heard and seen them 3 times! Must be a sign that I needed to make and eat one, so we did, and I LOVED it! Sisters
Cue the music "sisters, sisters, there was never such amazing sisters." can you hear the song from the movie White Christmas? I adore that movie, I love that song, and I adore and love my sister.
My little sister Tiffany (who is younger but taller than I =) came to visit me last week. She called out of the blue last Friday and told me she was flying in Monday from Utah, SURPRISE, and she stayed for 4 days. Her whole purpose in coming was just to take care of me. What? That is exactly what I said.
