Peanut Butter Bars – Day 2
Day Two of Peanut Butter Mania has begun. Just look at those yummy, nummy Peanut Butter Bars. When I typed the recipe into this post I had to classify it, and I couldn’t decide between breakfast and dessert! I know, I know, it is definitely a dessert. But it just looks good enough to eat for breakfast! Plus it has peanut butter =protein, and oatmeal in it….doesn’t that qualify it as a breakfast food? I won’t judge you for whatever time of day you end up munching down these bars, they are Ah-Mazing!

Breakfast Skillet
I LOVE this recipe! I love pretty much anything that I can cook in ONE pan (less dishes ya know!) Plus I am of the opinion that breakfast foods might be the best dinner foods EVER!!! So a one panned breakfast skillet to eat for dinner, GET in my belly!! It is definitely not what I would call “healthy” ….but is it yummy? YES, I think you will like it a lot! What is there not to like? Hashbrowns, yum! Eggs, delicious! Bacon, oh yeah! Cheese, definitely! I included the easy peasy recipe at the bottom of this post for your own eating enjoyment! If you make it I would love to know what you thought.
My family likes to eat this up with ketchup, we eat A LOT of things with ketchup. We are just ketchup dipping kind of people. So serve up some yummy, nummy breakfast skillet for dinner. Or go out on a crazy limb and you can even make it for breakfast…..gasp!!

Turkey & Bacon Oven Subs
My mouth has been watering over the Oven Subs that T.J. at Sweet Sugar Blossoms shared a few weeks ago. So when my sister came to visit last week and we were deciding on a dinner menu and she mentioned oven subs as an idea I was ALL IN! I had never even heard of oven subs until a few weeks ago and now I have heard and seen them 3 times! Must be a sign that I needed to make and eat one, so we did, and I LOVED it! I am excited to try even more variations of this yummy warm, super easy sandwich. Here is the Turkey & Bacon Oven Subs recipe my sister Tiff showed me how to make. Continue reading

Southwest Salad
I love summertime and it’s sunshine! I love that I get so much time to spend with family and friends. I love that summer brings opportunities for lots of bbq’s and pool parties and tons of good food!
I also really LOVE a good salad! When I say “good” salad, I mean one LOADED with all kinds of yummy ingredients. I like it super filling and topped with a delicious dressing. This Southwest Salad fills all of these requirements, plus it makes a lot so I can eat it for a few meals, or serve it up to a large group. It is also great because I don’t have to turn on the oven to prepare dinner! This is major, I try to cook things in the summertime that do not require the oven, no way do I need that extra heat in my house! I know you feel me on this!
