Turkey & Bacon Oven Subs
My mouth has been watering over the Oven Subs that T.J. at Sweet Sugar Blossoms shared a few weeks ago. So when my sister came to visit last week and we were deciding on a dinner menu and she mentioned oven subs as an idea I was ALL IN! I had never even heard of oven subs until a few weeks ago and now I have heard and seen them 3 times! Must be a sign that I needed to make and eat one, so we did, and I LOVED it! I am excited to try even more variations of this yummy warm, super easy sandwich. Here is the Turkey & Bacon Oven Subs recipe my sister Tiff showed me how to make.
Ingredients:
1 loaf of french bread
16oz of deli turkey
8 slices of cooked bacon
sliced mozzarella cheese
fresh grated parmesan cheese
mayonnaise
Directions:
Slice the loaf of french bread in half length wise. Spread desired amount of mayonnaise over one or both sides.
Layer slices of deli turkey over bottom half of loaf. Cover turkey with slices of mozzarella.
On top of mozzarella lay the strips of cooked bacon. Liberally sprinkle grated parmesan cheese over the top of bacon.
Close the sandwich, wrap in tin foil. Place on baking sheet and put in oven at 350 degrees until cheese is melted and sandwich is warmed all the way through. In my oven that takes about 15-20 minutes.
After sandwich is done warming, remove from oven, unwrap tinfoil, slice into pieces and serve warm. Enjoy!

Or maybe garlic butter…for all us who don’t like mayo. I bought some garlic butter from Costco, haven’t yet tried it myself but the sample was super yummy! This has become my new favorite fast dinner.
Yum, garlic butter, you will have to do it and let me know how it tastes! THANKS for teaching me how to make this yummy sandwich and letting me share it with all of my readers =)
